The CFF 200 is CFBDynasty's cross-position big board for 2026 — every starting quarterback, running back, wide receiver, and tight end ranked head-to-head by VBD (Value Based Drafting). VBD measures how many projected points each player banks you over a typical replacement-level starter at their position, which is the only fair way to compare across positions — a 380-pt QB and a 270-pt RB look very different when you account for what your league-mates are forced to start. The MOVERS column shows rank changes since the last snapshot (Jul 27). Free preview shows the top 25; full board is reserved for subscribers.

Player
Pts iProjected season fantasy points using the PPR scoring profile. Built from a coach-baseline (3-year position-slot production) blended with returning production, then opponent-adjusted by SOS. PPG is per-game over a 12-game regular season.
VBD iVBD = Value Based Drafting. Projected points above the typical "next guy up" at this position — i.e., how many points this player banks you over a typical starter your league-mates have to roll out. Replacement levels: QB14, RB30, WR42, TE14 (standard 12-team 1QB league). The CFF 200 sorts by VBD because it is the true cross-position weekly-edge metric — a 380-pt QB and a 270-pt RB look different when you account for what everyone else is starting.
Movers iRank change since the last weekly snapshot (Jul 27). ▲ = moved up the board, ▼ = moved down, NEW = no prior snapshot for this player. Snapshots are captured automatically every Monday at 9am ET; admins can also capture manually.
SOS iStrength of Schedule — opponent-adjusted multiplier built from each opponent's SP+ defensive rating (3-year context) plus a fantasy-tilted DvP layer that weights matchups against this position. 1.00 = neutral, > 1.00 = easier schedule, < 1.00 = tougher.

Methodology

How the rankings are built

Our formula has helped members win fantasy leagues and DFS matchups. Here’s a look into what goes into every ranking.

01

Spread

The spread is what sportsbooks set as the difference between two teams. If our chart shows Alabama -14, we use that to assume Alabama scores 14 more than their opponent, a baseline for implied team output.

02

Statistical Analysis

Each week, new data points improve consistency. As yards, catches, targets, and touchdowns reach statistical significance, the rankings get smarter and sharper.

03

Over/Under

The Over/Under is the projected combined score. Paired with the Spread, we calculate implied points for the home and away team for every game, every week.

04

Weather

Few things are worse than realizing too late it’s snowing or pouring, diminishing your points. We watch the weather, and the model factors it in.

Getting started with college fantasy football

Not enough people are playing! Starting a league the first time introduces a few obstacles compared to NFL fantasy. We’ve laid out what to consider, the player pool, league type, scoring nuances, transaction policies, and a league constitution.

Is college fantasy football a thing?

Yes! It’s a fantastic addition to the college football experience. There are stark differences from the NFL game, and college fantasy has incredible advantages, new stars break out every season, the waiver wire is alive weekly, and from Tuesday #MACtion through Saturday night, it’s a shame so many fans are late to the game. Get started!

Have to pay your site a huge compliment, I did a dynasty startup last year and drafted a very young team using your dynasty rankings, and now I have a juggernaut of a team.
