2026 DYNASTY RUNNING BACK RANKINGS

Total value across each player's remaining college eligibility — growth curves, portal-risk discount, and VBD-adjusted projections. 56 players ranked.

Dynasty RB rankings — running backs at colleges have short shelf lives, so RB1s with 2-3 years remaining get a strong lift. Value drops fast as eligibility runs out. Model applies a 15% annual discount for portal risk + injury attrition.
Slot Class Scoring
RK
Player
Yrs iYears of college eligibility remaining after this season. Freshmen = +3, Sophomores = +2, Juniors = +1, Seniors = Final Yr. Redshirt status is folded into the class year already. Portal moves reset nothing (same total college eligibility, just at a new school).
Dynasty iDynasty Value — total projected fantasy value across the player's remaining college eligibility. Formula: DV = current_year_value + Σ(current_year_value × growth × discount^year). Base value is VBD (positional scarcity) with a 20% floor of raw points to protect elite prospects. Growth per class transition: Fr→So +30%, So→Jr +15%, Jr→Sr flat. Annual discount 15% for portal + injury attrition. NOT devy — no NFL potential factored in.
Movers iRank change since the last weekly snapshot (Oct 26). ▲ moved up, ▼ moved down, NEW = no prior snapshot. Snapshots run automatically every Monday at 9:15am; admins can capture manually.
