2023 Week 2 College Fantasy Player Rankings
Well, folks, here we are again, talking about these dang rankings. I can’t believe we’ve gotta waste our time on this nonsense when we should be focusing on what truly matters – winning football games. But I suppose y’all wanna hear about it, so let’s get this over with. Week 2 college fantasy football rankings are out, and I’ve got some strong opinions about ’em.
New Dual-Threat QBs Better Prove Themselves Before Fantasy Dominance Claims
I’ll tell you what, these new dual-threat quarterbacks think they can turn one lucky game into some kind of consistent fantasy dominance. Take Jalen Milroe at Alabama, for instance. The audacity! He’s got some speed and skills, but let’s see if he can keep that up against real competition before we start talking about dominance. Shedeur Sanders over in Colorado, thinking he’s the next big thing with that arm of his. Well, he’s got a long way to go before he’s even in the same conversation as the greats. And don’t get me started on Jordan Travis and his so-called “new weapons” at Florida State. Let’s see if they can actually catch a ball before we anoint him as some fantasy king.
These young quarterbacks need to earn their stripes before they start making big claims, and until then, I’ve got no time for this nonsense.
Can Texas Tame the Tide in Week 2 Clash?
Well, here we go again, folks, with what they’re calling the “Game of the Week” – Texas heading into hostile territory at Alabama in Week 2. Now, don’t get me wrong; we love a good challenge down here in Tuscaloosa. But let’s talk facts, shall we? Texas may have some fancy hopes of moving the ball through the air with their hotshot wide receiver Xavier Worthy and young gun Quinn Ewers, but let’s not forget who they’re up against – the Crimson Tide defense.
And what about Jalen Milroe? Sure, he’s got potential, but he’s stepping into the lion’s den. Can he dominate the run game and launch those deep passes against an improved Texas defense?
If y’all want to obsess over who’s ranked where, go ahead, but remember, those rankings don’t mean a thing once the ball is snapped. The only thing that matters is what happens on that field. So, let’s quit wasting our time on this nonsense and focus on what really counts – winning football games. That’s what we do down here in Alabama, and that’s what we’ll keep doing. Roll Tide!
