[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]During day 1 of the NFL Draft in Nashville, a Madden20 cover release(featuring Patrick Mahomes) included some details about a new career mode. Madden20 will have 10 college football teams on the game in the second portion of the mode!
Once you advance past high school within the Madden20 career mode, you’ll participate in the College Football Playoff. The teams available to select include the Florida Gators, Oregon Ducks, Texas Tech Red Raiders, Oklahoma Sooners, LSU Tigers, USC Trojans, Texas Longhorns, Clemson Tigers, Miami Hurricanes, and Florida State Seminoles.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”7665″ img_size=”full”][vc_single_image image=”7664″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]If you’re a fan of one of the 10 college teams, this is still just a teaser though. This game will bring fond memories with features of the NCAA Football video game series like recruiting, defending your home field, and competing with friends in a dynasty which will leave you jonesing for more.
The hope for a future certainly increased with the Madden20 announcement.[/vc_column_text][dt_quote type=”pullquote”]The big news is that 10 schools were willing to license with the video game, allowing Madden to use the school’s logos. Aside from the whole player likeness issue, it was the teams backing out of licensing that really killed the chances of making an authentic video game.[/dt_quote][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]Maybe some of the top young players in our college fantasy football rankings will be able to play a 2021 College Football Video Game.
The desire for a college football video game is still strong with Kirk Herbstreit, Tua Tagovailoa, and others calling on EASports and others to bring it back.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Two groups of ballers have been trying to keep the NCAA Football video game alive. A group of guys annually update the rosters, and with all of the movement happening in the transfer portal – it’s a load of work. NCAA ’14 doesn’t make it easy either, it’d be a nice feature to be able to advance one year of dynasty mode and export those rosters – which would give these guys a nice head start.
Madden19 on PC featured a modded version where gamers were able to re-create the college atmosphere with NCAA teams. They’ve done an amazing job, the revised game looks and sounds great with fight songs! The college teams can play through a 16-game NFL season and enter the playoffs.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”7660″ img_size=”full”][vc_single_image image=”7658″ img_size=”full”][vc_single_image image=”7659″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][dt_quote type=”pullquote”]So will fans get to play an NCAA Football 2021 Video Game with Trevor Lawerence? Not certain. But, any momentum for a college football video game is great news.[/dt_quote][vc_single_image image=”7666″ img_size=”full” title=”Clemson QB Justin Heisey”][vc_single_image image=”7662″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
