Taking a look back at our rankings, we’ve identified a few sleepers. For this post we’re classifying a sleeper as a player that will likely outperform his average draft position.
In the case of our #10 sleeper, he did have 1,000 yards and 12 TD last year but he could end the season as a top 3 producing RB…but will likely be selected in round 3 or later of your draft.
|Tyree Jackson||Buffalo||Jr||117||vs Kent State, @ Ohio, @ Bowling Green||Weak schedule and the 6’7 QB will be throwing to Anthony Johnson, a mismatch each week for this future NFL WR.
|T.J. Vasher||Texas Tech||So||6||vs Texas, @ Kansas, @ Baylor||The 6’6 WR could have a monstrous year in a weak defensive conference, especially in the red zone.
|Brian Lewerke||Michigan State||Jr||26||vs Ohio State, @ Nebraska, vs Rutgers||Has the size, arm power, and enough speed to become a great CFF player. Solid QB2.
|Chris Robison||Florida Atlantic||So||94||vs WKU, @ North Texas, vs Charlotte||Incredibly talented former Oklahoma QB may blow up in Lane Kiffin’s offense.
|Trayveon Williams||Texas A&M||Jr||29||vs Ole Miss, vs UAB, vs LSU||A disappoinment in 2017, Williams should have a great year and new HC Jimbo Fisher helps.
|Shakif Seymour||Toledo||So||107||@ Nothern Illinois, @ Kent State, vs C Mich||Great production as a backup last year, and could end the season w/ RB1 numbers.
|Eno Benjamin||Arizona State||So||11||vs UCLA, @ Oregon, @ Arizona||1700 yards and 18 TD gone, add RB-friendly HC Herm Edwards and a small backfield…leads to great potential.
|Anton Gandy-Golden||Liberty||Jr||9||@ UVA, @ Auburn, vs New Mex State||Liberty makes the jump to FBS, but Gandy-Golden already proved he can score on this level in a ’17 game vs Baylor.
|Jake Browning||Washington||Sr||48||vs Stanford, vs Oregon State, @ Washington State||43 TD in 2016, 19 in 2017. Browning has the potential to fall in drafts & to get back to 2016 production.
|Jalin Moore||Appalachian State||Sr||129||@ Texas State, vs Georgia State, vs Troy||Sleeper? He disappointed last year w/ 1k yards, 12 TD after producing more as a backup in 2016. Huge potential.
